I'm Emma De Bock, and I'm proud to represent Minky Couture.

When I first discovered their blankets, I was drawn to how they bring instant comfort after a long training day or tough race. As a speed skater constantly dealing with cold mornings, jet lag, and recovery, having something ultra-soft and luxurious to wrap up in feels like a real reward for the grind. I chose Minky because their blankets aren't just cozy—they're made with a purpose that matches my own values of warmth, resilience, and giving back.

Minky Couture was founded in 2009 by Sandi Hendry in Utah. It started when her daughter was hospitalized, and Sandi created the first adult-sized minky blanket to bring comfort during hard times. From that heartfelt beginning, the company grew into the go-to brand for ultra-soft, high-quality minky fabric blankets in beautiful designs and sizes for everyone.

What makes Minky special is the incredible softness and durability of their minky fabric—it's like being wrapped in a cloud, but it's machine-washable and built to last. More than that, they're deeply committed to community. For every adult blanket sold, they donate a mini blanket to Utah NICUs, and they've given over $1 million to Primary Children's Hospital NICU. That kind of compassion—helping fragile infants and families in need—is something I truly admire.

It resonates with who I am because I'm all about big-sister energy. Whether it's my two brothers or the little kids (total strangers) who come up to me at parks wanting to play, I'm warm, approachable, and happy to connect. Minky is the same: their blankets bring comfort and joy when people need it most, just like how I try to inspire the next generation.

This partnership is beyond what I could have imagined. The moment Minky decided to sponsor me, the excitement, pride, and sense of belonging were indescribable. It feels like I'm part of a family that genuinely cares about our community, and that connection means everything to me. Together, we're about resilience, comfort, and pushing forward.
